Well guys, after a long vacation from HHO...I'm back. My last tests in the Tahoe didn't go too well---I basically didn't see any increases in MPG. After a few months away from messing with it, I decided to give it another shot. So, I will be posting results again. A few generatlites I should mention first....(just my opinions)

1. Newer vehicles burn fuel more effieciently (two plugs per cylinder, coil per cylinder ect.). With these vehicles, I suspect that you'll see less of a gain from HHO systems simply because there is less unburnt fuel. I think this may be why I haven't seen an increase.

2. I drive a mile and half to work in Montana (cold). The O2 sensors usually don't warm up to operating temp by the time I shutdown the vehicle. So, for me, using the efie doesn't do any good until I take long drives.

3. The tests I did before had many uncontrollable variables, i.e. wind, uneven ground, temperature ect. It is impossible to control all the variables..so results will vary.

4. I was running the 3 prong Punch 2.0. I have some complaints about it. First, the cylinder looks cool, but a square generator would be more effective for mounting purposes. Second, the damn thing leaks like the first 2.0. When i completed my last testing, I left the 2.0 inplace--just took out the fuse. Now there is corrosive white crap foaming up around the bottom seal and leaking down on the frame of the Tahoe. I know Tom changed the seal type from the first 2.0, but apparently the new seal doesn't work either. I'll have to fix that seal before I start testing again.

5. I have my efie and map sensor enhancer plugged in and ready to go. I noticed the map sensor enhancer doesn't work to well. I can only adjust is a few degrees before the engine begins to ping (very bad). I monitored the map sensor with my scanguage. Didn't see any difference. This doesn't mean it doesn't work, but I don't like it. As for the efie, who knows if it works or not---again---I didn't see any mpg gain.

6. I will be installing a bubbler. This HHO being pumped into my intake is starting to become apparent on the intake walls. I know it's corrosive and that is definelty not good. Hopefully, a bubbler will take care of that. If not, I may play around with using baking soda.

7. I recall that thermal runaway was a problem. I added enough solution to bring the STARTING amps up to 40amps. Eventually, it heated up and went up to 60 amps. Can't control it. I remember looking into a device that would hold your amps at a specific number, but I never did get it.

***Don't know when I'll start testing exactly, but it will be soon. If anyone has any comments/advice...please feel free to chime in. AND, if anyone has gotten this to work on a 5.3L Tahoe...LET ME KNOW HOW! Stay tuned for more.
Update, I removed my 2.0 from the engine compartment. The generator still had the mixture in it from last testing. I dumped it out and it looked like charcoal had been added to it because it came out a dirty grey color. Anyone else experience this? Also, I believe the leak on the bottom seal may infact be coming from the bottom sight gauge plug. I need to get this fixed before I continue.
Still the same with no hope in sight... i am still right
